How we are funded
- Advertising and sponsorship — always labelled, never able to influence coverage.
- Partnerships and syndication — content partnerships are disclosed on the relevant articles.
- Reader products — newsletters and, in future, memberships and premium intelligence products.
Editorial independence
Commercial and editorial functions are separated. Advertisers and sponsors receive no advance sight of editorial coverage, no right of approval, and no ability to withdraw or amend journalism. Where we report on a company that is a commercial partner, we disclose the relationship in the article.
Grants and donations
Where journalism is supported by a grant or fund, the funder is named on the relevant coverage, and funders have no editorial control.
