How NewsRena Will Verify Claims Before Publication
A transparent verification process separates evidence from assertion and explains what is known what is uncertain and what readers should watch next.
Fact-checking begins with a precise claim. NewsRena will identify the exact statement being tested and separate verifiable facts from opinion prediction satire and rhetorical language.
Our reporters will seek original evidence first: official records primary datasets court documents direct transcripts scientific studies and on-the-record sources. Images and videos will be checked for origin date location and signs of manipulation. Important findings will be compared with independent evidence where possible.
Context matters. A technically accurate number can mislead when the time period denominator geography or comparison is omitted. Conclusions will reflect the evidence rather than force every claim into a false binary. When reliable information is incomplete we will say so and material corrections will be clear and traceable.
