Where we hire
- Newsroom: reporters, desk editors, country editors, visual journalists, data journalists.
- Product and engineering: platform, publishing tools, data and infrastructure.
- Commercial and operations: partnerships, audience growth, marketing.
Freelance and contributors
We commission freelance reporting, particularly from the countries we cover. Pitch a specific story, not a topic: what is new, why now, who you will speak to, and what you need. Contributors work to the same Editorial Standards as staff.
