UNESCO reports that internet access has expanded rapidly while school connectivity remains uneven. It also finds widespread AI use among higher-education professionals but much lower levels of strong confidence. That gap between adoption and preparedness deserves attention.

Effective policy should give educators time training and clear guidance. Schools need rules for privacy assessment academic integrity accessibility and the appropriate role of automated tools. Technology should support teachers rather than weaken the relationships at the centre of learning.
