Cross River State says a delegation led by agriculture commissioner Johnson Ebokpo has arrived in Uganda to study coffee production and trade. The state information ministry published the announcement on 28 September.

Officials said the visit would examine farmer support, processing, traceability and market development. The delegation includes government representatives, technical staff, women and young people. The trip was facilitated by Johnvent Industries with the state government.

The ministry linked the visit to existing farmer profiling, training and subsidised seedling distribution. Its immediate output is a study tour intended to inform recommendations; the statement does not establish new export contracts or additional farmer earnings.
