Edo Queens’ penalty-shootout win over Ampem Darkoa has been annulled after a successful protest over the WAFU-B final’s procedure, according to reports published by the Nigerian Observer and PUNCH on 28 September.

The 5 September match in Ouagadougou finished 2–2 before going directly to penalties, which Edo Queens won 4–1. The reports say CAF ruled that extra time should have been played first.

The final is therefore to resume with two 15-minute periods of extra time, followed by penalties if required. Continental qualification remains dependent on that outcome. The reviewed reports do not specify the date of the resumed match.
