I am Ready to Kick — Tinubu 

President Bola Tinubu has dismissed concerns about his health, saying he is healthy and ready to resume his official duties following his return to Nigeria from his annual vacation.

Tinubu spoke shortly after arriving in Nigeria when asked about his vacation and concerns raised by some Nigerians over his health during his absence.

Asked how he felt and whether he was ready for the next phase of his duties, the President said: “Ready to kick, ready to walk. There’s nothing wrong.”

Tinubu also dismissed rumours about his health, attributing them to the nature of political activities.

“Rumour will always be emanating from politics, but the facts remain I’m here,” he said.

The President further assured Nigerians that he was in good condition and prepared to continue his official responsibilities.

“Healthy, sound, and ready to go,” Tinubu said.

Tinubu had been away from Nigeria since August 30 on what the Presidency described as a working vacation. He initially travelled to London before proceeding to Paris, where he held meetings with French President Emmanuel Macron and businessman Vincent Bolloré.

The Presidency had maintained that Tinubu remained in touch with developments in Nigeria and continued to direct government affairs while abroad.

His return came after his vacation was extended by a few days, with the Presidency earlier announcing that he would return to Nigeria at the weekend.
